It is a very resourceful website which covers issues on extensive reading, contains links to online articles, model programmes, annotated bibliography of works on extensive reading and more.
- Extensive Reading Resources Page
This is a supplementary site to the Extensive Reading Pages. Teachers may be interested to check out the links to online reading materials and action research in extensive reading.
- The George Jacobs Website
It contains suggestions and ideas from teachers who have run extensive reading programmes in their classrooms. Teachers may be interested to check out ideas for after individual reading.
- English Learner Movie Guide
It contains detailed synopses of popular movies, extensive glossary of vocabulary and cultural references, plus questions and ideas for ESL class discussion.
- Simply Scripts
This site contains links to downloadable movie scripts, screenplays, and transcripts of current and classic movies. Teachers could make use of the scripts to conduct pre-viewing or follow up classroom activities (e.g. story prediction, drama on a particular scene, rewriting the storylines, etc.)
