Welcome to the website of The University of Hong Kong - Rugby Football Club!

The Club was founded in 2001 and has made tremendous progress ever since. Our experienced players have played in competitive contact matches at tertiary level and in league organised by HKRFU. At the same time various rugby courses are provided to beginners and students (both boys AND girls) who are interested in participating.

This year, we managed to move up a gear and achieved an exceptional "Grand Slam" by winning all 3 competitions we took part in, namely the Inter-Varsity XV's Cup, HKRFU XV's League (Div 5) and Union 7's Cup. (The final of the Union 7’s Cup took place at the marvellous Hong Kong Stadium!) On top of that, we battled hard to record 14 back-to-back victories under our belt and stayed unbeaten throughout the whole season.

Rugby is a fascinating and rapidly growing sport in HK. Our ultimate goal is to generate the best possible awareness of all aspects of the sport in the University and encourage expansion locally through emphasising the spirit of the sport of rugby. Besides, we also aim to maximise the potential of both our current and future representatives.
