Yan Dora Zhang (张彦)

I am currently an Assistant Professor at Department of Statistics & Actuarial Science, and Centre for PanorOmic Sciences, The University of Hong Kong.

I received my B.S. in Statistics from Nankai University in 2011, and Ph.D. in Statistics from North Carolina State University (advisor: Howard D. Bondell) in 2016. Then I was working as a postdoctoral fellow (advisor: Nilanjan Chatterjee) at Department of Biostatistics, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health during 2016-2019.

My research interests include statistical genetics, biostatistics, bioinformatics, Bayesian methods, high-dimensional methods, public health and biomedical research.
