Microsphere-based drug delivery

Microsphere-based drug delivery is advantageous due to its injectability, ability to control protein release and the possibility of delivering multiple bioactive agents. We have developed collagen-based microspheres for protein drug delivery using modified emulsification methods. We are also interested in developing techniques modifying the release characteristics of proteins from these microspheres.
